Central Police Forces (Assistant Commandants) Exam, 2008
UPSC will hold a written exam on October 5, 2008 for recruitment of Assistant Commandants (Group A) in the Central Police forces.
Application form can be purchased from the designated Head Post Offices/Post Offices located throughout India.
Last date for the receipt of application is June 9, 2008.

Written exam will comprise of Paper-I on General Ability and Intelligence; and Paper-II will be Essay, Precis Writing and Comprehension.
