Joint Management Entrance Test 2010 (JMET 2010) is the first step in the process of seeking admission to the Post-Graduate Programmes in Management offered by IISc Bangalore, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras and IIT Roorkee.
JMET 2010 is only a qualifying examination. Candidates have to apply separately to the Institutes of their choice. They are also advised to look up the details provided in the brochure about the programmes available in the participating Institutes. There is no limit to the number of programmes a candidate can apply to, so long as he or she meets the eligibility criteria.

The application fee is Rs.350/- for SC/ST/PD candidates and Rs. 750/- for all other candidates.
Commencement of submission of data for ON-LINE Application: September 7, 2009
Last date for submission of Application Form: October 9, 2009
Receipt of completed Off-line and On-line Application Form at IISc Bangalore Office: October 16, 2009
Test Date: December 13, 2009
