Resigned & Died

Rabbo Mansour Hadi:
President of Yemen. He resigned under pressure from Shiite rebels who had seized the capital and confined the embattled leader to his home.  Presidential officials said Hadi resigned after being pressured to make concessions to the rebels, known as Houthis. Prime Minister Khaled Bahah, whose technocratic government was formed in November 2014 as part of a United Nations-brokered peace deal after the Houthis overran the capital in September, also resigned, “in order to avoid being dragged into an abyss of non-constructive policies based on no law.”

King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz: Saudi Arabia’s king, he died on 23 January 2015.  He had ruled Saudi Arabia as king since 2005, but had run the country as de facto regent for a decade before that after his predecessor King Fahd suffered a debilitating stroke.
