Australia-England-India tri-series
Glenn Maxwell produced a stellar all-round performance and Mitchell Johnson returned to terrorize England as Australia clinched the One-day tri-series with an emphatic 112-run victory over their Ashes rivals. India failed to win any match in the series.

Indian Open
Anirban Lahiri won a playoff against compatriot S.S.P. Chawrasia to claim the Indian Open title.

Asia Cup
Substitute James Troisi scored halfway through extra time in a pulsating final to give tournament hosts Australia their maiden Asian Cup title with a 2-1 victory over South Korea.

Australian Open 2015
Men’s Singles:  Novak Djokovic reasserted his rule over the hard-courts of Melbourne Park, grinding down Andy Murray 7-6(5) 6-7(4) 6-3 6-0 to win his fifth Australian Open title.

Women’s Singles: Serena Williams gave Maria Sharapova another serving of Grand Slam heartbreak to win the Australian Open and bolster her claims to be the all-time greatest player with her 19th major title.

Men’s Doubles: Fabio Fognini and Simone Bolelli won the men’s doubles title; they became the first all Italian men’s pair to win a Grand Slam title in the Open era.

Women’s Doubles: Mattek-Sands (USA) and Lucie Šafářová (Czech Republic).

Mixed Doubles: Martina Hingis won her second Australian Open mixed doubles title as she teamed with Leander Paes to beat 2014 winners France’s Kristina Mladenovic and Canada’s Daniel Nestor.
